Things to do before going into a recording studio

I think the best one is perhaps #1 Prepare Your Songs.

• Do you really know how to play the song? 
• Do you know the tempo?  
• If there will be a lot of overdubs, do you know what these will be?  

The more you prepare, the quicker (and cheaper) your recording session will be.
